TurtleFest is a free fun educational ocean front event celebrating sea turtles and the fragile marine life ecosystems in South Florida. The date is set for Saturday, April 25 at Loggerhead Park in Juno Beach from 10am to 7pm.


Sprouts has designed a TurtleFest collection featuring six rehabilitated turtles at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. We will be selling the cards at the event so make sure to stop by and say hi and you can even enter to win our gift basket!

 

 
Last Wednesday Sprouts had the opportunity to participate in the Grassy Waters Preserve Wine and Dine Event. Guests there were encouraged to stroll through the shimmering preserve on the boardwalk of Grassy Waters Preserve at twilight while listening to live music and enjoying the pristine beauty of untouched nature. Plenty of restaurants were on hand cooking up some of their exotic fares and specialties and Sprouts was there in the middle of all the excitment, meeting lots of great people! 

As an effort to provide awareness and help raise funds for the Preserve, Sprouts created a line of cards featuring images of water birds farmiliar to the park. These cards will be available for sale at TurtleFest as well as on our website.

Sprouts proudly sponsored and attended the African Rainforest Conservancy's (ARC) 18th Annual Artists for Africa Benefit that took place in April 20, 2009 in New York City.  This year's benefit helped raise over $1 million dollars for grass roots community development and conservation in the Eastern Arc Mountains of Tanzania.
 

Sprouts was excited for the opportunity to work with such a generous foundation along with the other sponsors that help make this year's event a success. Each guest received one of Sprouts signature Garden-in-a-Box kit (above, right) as well as a custom bookmark (left) designed with the ARC's mission statement:
